We recently completed an impressive solar project that has brought sustainable energy to a local farm. Let's take a closer look at the key components of this remarkable solar installation:

System Size: With a total size of 19.575 kW, this robust solar system not only meets the farm's current energy needs but also allows for future expansion.

Solar Panels: Our team installed 45 cutting-edge solar panels, each with an impressive 435 Watts capacity. These strategically positioned panels are the backbone of the system, efficiently converting sunlight into clean, renewable energy.

Energy Storage Solution: Recognising the importance of energy storage, we integrated a powerful PureStorage II 3-Phase 11.5kWh battery into the system. This battery serves as a reservoir for excess energy generated during peak sunlight hours, ensuring a stable energy supply during periods of low sunlight. It enhances energy independence on the farm.

Inverter Technology: To ensure optimal performance and seamless energy flow, we integrated a state-of-the-art Solis 10kW Inverter. This advanced technology efficiently converts captured solar energy into a usable form.

Hybrid Inverter Innovation: Adding sophistication to the setup, we incorporated a Solis 10kW 5G RHI Hybrid Inverter. This innovative technology allows for dynamic energy management, seamlessly blending solar power with grid connectivity. The hybrid inverter ensures a constant and reliable power supply, optimising energy usage on the farm.

Benefits:

Cost Savings: By tapping into solar energy, the farm significantly reduces its reliance on traditional grid power, resulting in substantial cost savings over time.

Environmental Impact: The solar installation contributes to a substantial reduction in carbon emissions, aligning with the farm's commitment to sustainable and eco-friendly practices.

Energy Independence: With solar panels, efficient inverters, and a reliable storage solution, the farm gains a degree of energy independence, reducing vulnerability to grid outages.

Smart Energy Management: The hybrid inverter and energy storage system work together to ensure intelligent energy distribution and utilisation, further optimising energy efficiency.

This farm solar installation is a testament to our commitment to providing comprehensive and sustainable energy solutions. At Power and Control, we take pride in transforming spaces, empowering businesses, and contributing to a greener, more sustainable future—one solar panel at a time.
