Roles at P&C are permanent positions with clearly defined hours, Monday to Friday, with the majority of projects kept close to our Derby base. When overtime is required, it is compensated fairly — with rates that reflect the effort you put in.
You'll be equipped with everything you need to do the job properly — a company van, fuel card, branded workwear, and direct access to management when you need it. We keep things straightforward, because the work speaks for itself.

"Can’t recommend and thank Power & Control enough for the recent installation they completed at my property (12 solar panels, battery, inverter and Gateway). From initial enquiry, they were professional and really helpful. Taking the time to listen to my requirements and advise on the best solutions. Dan arranged to visit the house and make sure that I got the best solution and that they would be able to complete the installation. The scaffolding was arranged and put up a couple of days before installation and then taken down soon after completion. The installation took 2 days and the lads on site were brilliant. Taking the time to explain what they were doing or answer any questions that I had. They were well presented, worked hard and were extremely tidy, clearly taking great pride in their work. Upon completion of the work, Ryan explained how everything worked and walked me through using the app. Sasha in the office was also really helpful when it came to the invoicing and answering questions and nothing was too much trouble for any of the team. The relevant paperwork was sent through quickly and the whole experience was excellent from start to finish. The team really are a credit to Dan and the business. I will be looking to add additional batteries in the future and won’t hesitate to call P&C to complete the work. A massive thank you to all and it was a pleasure doing business with you!"

"From start to finish, the experience was seamless. Dan is fantastic to deal with —straightforward, professional, and clearly cares about every detail. We had a significant installation: 17 solar panels across two roofs, a full Sigenergy system (including 36kWh of batteries, an 8kWh inverter, and a backup gateway), plus a new 18th Edition consumer unit. "Power and Control recently installed solar and battery at my property. From the initial consultation to the completion of the work the team have been highly professional, responsive and thorough in their work. Dan understood our requirements well and offered us a few options in terms of a system that would suit us best. There was no pressure in terms of the sale, which suited us compared to some of the other vendors we’d received quotes from. The solar install went very quickly and smoothly, the guys were all very polite and helpful. They even went above and beyond to help us with some technical issues we experienced with setting up the solar app. Much appreciated. "Great job, highly recommended! I already had an old solar installation on the original FIT and wanted to add more panels, ideally to cover three roof spaces, one of which to upgrade the panels of the original system, while not impacting the FIT generation tariff. I had contacted several other suppliers, none of whom followed through on appointments and seemed to be put off the moment I introduced anything other than "new installation, one roof side". Dan responded quickly and we sat down and went through all of my requirements, discussed options and tweaked stuff. He was more than happy to work to a budget if desired The Sigenergy system was unknown to me but I was impressed with the choice and panel choice, being a top tier panel and after my research before pressing the "Accept Offer", subsequently added the EVDC charger for future proofing such that my overall new system included 30 Aiko panels, Sigenergy with batteries, EVDC, Gateway and an replacement inverter for the original FIT system. From start to finish, the discussion phase, the quoting, the project management and payment options were all of a high standard. The scaffolding went up the day before and down the day after, no hanging around there. From my observation, the installation itself was professional, tidy and the layout of equipment well structured. The installation team were among the most polite and courteous that i've had the pleasure to host in a long time and I have no hesitation in recommending P&C."
