We're Hiring: Experienced Approved Electricians and Solar Roofers

Demand for solar PV, battery storage and EV charging has kept our diary full all year, and we're now growing the team to keep up with it. We're looking for experienced Approved Electricians and Solar Roofers who take pride in their work and want to join a company with the pipeline to keep them busy.

We're based in Derby and work for homeowners and businesses across the region. We hold ourselves to a high standard on every job, and our Sigenergy Gold Installer status, awarded this year, reflects that. We want the people who join us to share that standard.

Approved Electricians

You'll work across all three sides of the business: solar PV and battery storage, EV charging, and general domestic and commercial electrical work, from consumer unit upgrades to full rewires. That covers first and second fix, testing and commissioning, and getting certification completed correctly and on time.

We're looking for:

• Approved Electrician grade (JIB/ECS Gold Card) or equivalent
• 18th Edition (BS 7671) and an inspection and testing qualification (C&G 2391 or equivalent)
• Solid experience in domestic and commercial installation work
• Solar PV, battery storage or EV charging experience is a big plus
• A full UK driving licence

Solar Roofers

You'll be fitting solar PV mounting systems on pitched roofs. That means setting out arrays, fitting roof hooks and rails beneath tiles and slates, and leaving every roof watertight and in the condition we found it. You'll work closely with our electricians so every installation goes in cleanly and on schedule.

We're looking for:

• Proven experience installing solar PV on pitched roofs, across a range of tile and slate types
• Strong roofing skills, including making good and weatherproofing
• Confidence working at height and a good understanding of safe working on scaffold
• A valid CSCS card
• A full UK driving licence
